Sydney Tamiia Poitier stars in NBC's two-hour movie "Knight Rider" as Carrie Ruvai, a tough FBI agent who doesn't see eye-to-eye with Mike Tracer (Justin Bruening), son of Michael Knight.

Sydney Tamiia Poitier, the youngest daughter of legendary actor Sidney Poitier, has most recently appeared in Quentin Tarantino's 'Deathproof" portion of the "Grindhouse" double feature film and has worked under the direction of Academy Award winners Clint Eastwood and Helen Mirren. Sydney Tamiia Poitier's feature-film credits include "True Crime," "MacArthur Park," "Happy Birthday" and "Devil Cats," directed by her sister Anika Poitier.

Sydney Tamiia Poitier was the lead in the series "Abby" and also was a series regular on "First Years" and "Joan of Arcadia." Sydney Tamiia Poitier had a recurring role in "Veronica Mars" and has guest-starred in such shows as "Grey's Anatomy" and "The Twilight Zone."

Among Sydney Tamiia Poitier's theater credits are "Titus Andronicus," "Our Town" and "Hello, From Birtha."

Sydney Tamiia Poitier received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and currently resides in Los Angeles.
