Tabrett Bethell was born in Sydney, Australia, where she also graduated from the Screenwise 12 Month Intensive Film & TV School for Actors. In addition to acting, she models for the Chadwick Agency.
Bethell has appeared in the feature films "Strangers Love Killers," "Anyone You Want" and "The Clinic." In 2011 she shot the ABC pilot for "Poe," a period crime procedural with supernatural elements that tells how some of Edgar Allan Poe's most famous stories came to be. The executive producer and director is Peter Berg.
