Tara Buck stars in "True Blood" on HBO as the fang-banging barmaid Ginger.

Idaho born actress Tara Buck attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Shortly after graduating she landed her first recurring television role in "Party of Five." She later received rave reviews for her performance in FX's "Nip/Tuck" as the tragic, fake carver victim Rhea Reynolds. Buck has also guest starred in numerous other series including "Longmire," "Criminal Minds," "Bones," "Prime Suspect," "Southland," "Justified," "Cold Case," "The Closer," "The Shield," "The X-Files," "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," "Without a Trace," "Six Feet Under" and "NCIS," among others.

Independent film credits include the horror thrillers "At the Devil's Door" and "The Night Visitor," the dramas "Medeas" and "K-11" with Goran Visnjic, the thriller "Tomorrow You're Gone," alongside Michelle Monaghan, Willem Dafoe and Stephen Dorff, and the crime drama "The Grind."

Buck has a deep passion for the theater and has had leading roles in Paula Vogel's Pulitzer Prize winning play "How I Learned to Drive" (2010) and the West Coast premiere of Marisa Wegrzyn's "Ten Cent Night" (2009). In 2005, Buck was nominated for an Ovation Award for her tour de force performance in "A Gift from Heaven," opposite Beth Grant.
