![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Taylor Kitsch portrays Tim Riggins, Dillon High School's running back and teammate Brian "Smash" William's arch-rival, in the NBC television drama "Friday Night Lights." Born in Kelowna, British Columbia, and raised in Vancouver, Taylor Kitsch knew at an early age that performing was something he was destined to do. In 2002, Taylor Kitsch moved to New York City to study with acting coach Sheila Grey. Taylor Kitsch returned to Vancouver in 2003 and landed his first major role in David Richard Ellis' "Pacific Air 121" for New Line Cinema. Taylor Kitsch's film projects include Betty Thomas' "John Tucker Must Die," opposite Brittany Snow and Jesse Metcalfe, and "The Covenant" for Lakeshore Entertainment and Screen Gems, with director Renny Harlin. In television, Taylor Kitsch appears in the drama series "Kyle XY" and was seen in the Canadian TV series "Godiva."
