Season 19

 "The Amazing Race 19" on CBS is a multi-Emmy Award-winning adventure reality series hosted by Emmy-nominated host, Phil Keoghan. "The Amazing Race" Season 19 sends 11 new Teams of two on a Race around the globe, making first time visits to exotic locations such as Indonesia, Malawi, Belgium and Denmark. Along the way, Teams will travel through four continents and 20 cities and cover nearly 40,000 miles.

Teams will be tested early and often and met with a new penalty called the "Hazard," which will impact one Team's future on the Race right from the starting line. The global journey sets off from the foothills of Southern California where the Teams' problem solving abilities will be put to the test as they search for clues to their first destination, Taipei, Taiwan. Teams fortunate enough to survive the first leg will find themselves amidst an 8th Century Buddhist temple in Indonesia, riding elephants through the rain forests of Thailand, and racing for their lives when they discover they're facing the series first ever Double Elimination.

"The Amazing Race 19" contestants include engaged couple Ernie Halvorsen & Cindy Chiang, siblings Justin Young & Jennifer Young, twin sisters Liz Canavan & Marie Canavan, domestic partners and flight attendants, Ron Zeitz & Bill Smith, two winners of "Survivor" who are dating each other, Ethan Zohn & Jennifer Morasca, grandparents Bill Alden & Cathi Alden, professional snowboarders and friends, Andy Finch & Tommy Czeschin, married couple Amani Pollard & ex-NFL tight end Marcus Pollard, former Las Vegas showgirls Kaylani Paliotta & Lisa Tilley, father and son, Laurence Sunderland & Zac Sunderland, who's the youngest person ever to sail around the world, and dating couple Jeremy Cline & Sandy Draghi.

"The Amazing Race" sends 11 teams on a trek around the world. Each Team is comprised of two people who have a pre-existing relationship with one another. At every destination, each Team competes in a series of challenges — some mental and some physical — and when the tasks have been completed, they learn their next destination. Teams who are farthest behind will gradually be eliminated as the contest progresses, with the first team to arrive at the final destination winning $1 million.

Season 18

"The Amazing Race 18" on CBS is a seven-time Emmy Award-winning adventure reality series hosted by Emmy-nominated host, Phil Keoghan, which pits teams, of two, against each other on a trek around the world. Season 18, "The Amazing Race: Unfinished Business," will feature an all-star cast of racers from past seasons of the show.

"The Amazing Race 18" contestants include Kynt Cothron and Vyxsin Fiala, the dating goths from season 12; Ronald Hsu and Christina Hsu, the father-and-daughter team from season 12; Jaime Edmondson and Cara Rosenthal, the former NFL Cheerleaders from season 14; Margie Adams and Luke Adams, the mother-and-son team from season 14; Kisha Hoffman and Jen Hoffman, the sisters from season 14; Mel White and Mike White, the father-and-son team from season 14; Amanda Blackledge and Kris Klicka, the dating couple from season 14; Herbert "Flight Time" Lang and Nathaniel "Big Easy" Lofton, the Harlem Globetrotters from season 15; Zev Glassenberg and Justin Kanew, the best friends from season 15; Jet McCoy and Cord McCoy, the cowboys from season 16; and Gary Ervin and Mallory Ervin, the father-and-daughter team from season 17.


Season 17

"The Amazing Race 17" features a cast of Racers who will travel over 32,000 miles, covering four continents and 30 cities, with first-time visits to Bangladesh, Ghana and the Arctic Circle. Additionally, for the first time in the history of the Race, the team to finish in first place during the premiere episode will be awarded a surprise, game-changing advantage.

The new season features Racers from all walks of life, including a Team of Home Shopping hosts, newly dating couples, an Internet entertainer, Ivy League a cappella singers and a birth mother/daughter Team who were recently reunited after the mother gave her newborn daughter up for adoption over 20 years ago.

The 11 teams are Brook Roberts & Claire Champlin, Nick DeCarlo & Vicki Casciola, Ron Kellum & Tony Stovall, Michael Wu & Kevin Wu, Chad Waltrip & Stephanie Smith, Nat Strand & Kat Chang, Gary Ervin & Mallory Ervin, Connor Diemand-Yauman & Jonathan Schwartz, Jill Haney & Thomas Wolfard, Andie DeKroon & Jenna Sykes, and Katie Seamon & Rachel Johnston.


Season 16

On "The Amazing Race 16" contestants will travel nearly 40,000 miles across five continents and eight countries. Eleven teams start off by navigating through the congested streets of Los Angeles and, for the first time ever, must rely solely on public transportation to make their way to LAX. The teams' first destination lies in Chile where they will encounter one of the most daunting Roadblocks in the history of the series. In their ongoing battle for the one million dollar prize, teams will participate in a grueling World War I reenactment in France, retrace the early days of the iconic rock group, The Beatles, and come face-to-face with one of the world's most infamous villains.

Season 16 features teams from all walks of life, including couples, parents, siblings, friends, models, lawyers, detectives and even cowboys. The teams include dating couple Jordan LLoyd & Jeff Schroeder from "Big Brother 11," dating models Caite Upton & Brent Horne, detective Louis Stravato & Michael Naylor, father-and-daughter Steve Smith & Allie Smith, attorneys Monique Pryor & Shawne Morgan, cowboys Jet McCoy & Cord McCoy, high school sweethearts Dana Davis & Adrian Davis, grandmother-and-granddaughter Jody Kelly & Shannon Foster, dating couple Cara Rosenfeld & Brandy Snow, brothers Dan Pious & Jordan Pious, and married couple Joe Wang & Heidi Wang.

Season 15

On CBS's "The Amazing Race" Season 15, contestants will travel one of the fastest courses ever assembled on the Race — spanning eight countries in just 21 days. Season 15 also features the quickest elimination in the history of the series, sending one Team home before they leave the starting line. Teams fortunate enough to avoid the surprise elimination and compete for the $1 million prize will face the "Switchback," which sends Teams back to the site of one of the series' most infamous Roadblocks, as well as a surprise appearance by one of America's most beloved entertainers, a visit to the world's tallest building and a spicy twist on a Japanese game show.

Season 15 features a diverse cast of Racers including a Team of Harlem Globetrotters, professional female poker players, the first-ever Racer with Asperger's Syndrome, married yoga teachers and a former Miss America.

Season 13

The 11 Teams set to compete in CBS's "The Amazing Race 13" will travel over 30,000 miles, spanning five continents in 23 days, all starting from the world famous Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, site of the 1932 and 1984 Olympics. Phil Keoghan is the host.

The 13th installment of "The Amazing Race" will feature a variety of firsts, including: Teams traveling to a real-life water world where its inhabitants live upon a floating city; first time visits for the Race to locations such as Cambodia and Kazakhstan; and one Team makes an unprecedented mistake on the road that ultimately prohibits them from joining their fellow Racers at the finish line.

The cast of "The Amazing Race 13" also features couples in various stages of their lives: married beekeepers who have been together for years, a married but separated couple looking to rebuild their marriage, a newly dating couple still getting to know each other and best friends who are comic book aficionados and describe the Race as "the ultimate game on the biggest game board you can imagine."

"The Amazing Race" was just nominated for its sixth straight Emmy Award for Outstanding Reality Competition Program, which the globe-trotting series has taken home five years in a row.
