TBS's family-friendly sitcom, "The Bill Engvall Show," which offers a humorous look at what it takes to be a parent in today's world, stars Bill Engvall ("Blue Collar Comedy Tour"), Nancy Travis ("Becker," "The Jane Austen Book Club") and Tim Meadows ("Saturday Night Live," "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story").

In "The Bill Engvall Show," Engvall plays Bill Pearson, a family counselor who can't always figure out his own family. Travis plays his wife, Susan, who has her hands full with three kids and a husband who sometimes needs as much supervision as the kids. On "The Bill Engvall Show, the two engage in a constant battle of the sexes; Susan invariably wins, even when she lets Bill think he has.

On "The Bill Engvall Show," Meadows plays Bill's best friend and the family's de facto uncle, Paul DuFrayne, a hair-replacement specialist who talks a bigger game than he plays. When he and Bill get together, they frequently get tangled in their own schemes, whether it's declaring war against a neighbor who leaves his garbage cans on the street or keeping the secret that Paul is responsible for losing all of Trent's baby pictures.

On "The Bill Engvall Show," Bill and Susan's kids are played by Jennifer Lawrence ("The Burning Plain") as Lauren, a high-school student determined to be treated as an adult; Graham Patrick Martin ("The Girl Next Door") as Trent, a skateboarding and video gamer who's not exactly the sharpest crayon in the box; and Skyler Gisondo ("Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story") as Bryan, a bookish genius who is adept at playing his brother and sister against one another.

On season 3 of "The Bill Engvall Show," the Pearsons will face economic challenges as Bill's client base dwindles. That means a lot of cutbacks, including not allowing Lauren to go on an expensive trip for spring break. Meanwhile, Bill's deadbeat brother, Danny (Stephen Dunham, "The Mummy"), hits it big when one of his investment opportunities actually pays off. That sudden change in fortune causes a rift between him and Bill that money won't be able to heal.

In its first season in 2007, "The Bill Engvall Show" set records as ad-supported cable's #1 original sitcom of all time among adults 25-54. Last season, it averaged 2.6 million viewers and ranked as ad-supported cable's #1 show in its time period among adults 18-49.

"The Bill Engvall Show" was created by Bill Engvall and Michael Leeson ("War of the Roses"). Engvall serves as executive producer, along with J.P. Williams ("Blue Collar TV"), Mark Kunerth ("Friends") and director James Widdoes ("Two and a Half Men").  "The Bill Engvall Show" is produced by TBS with Williams' Parallel Entertainment.
