"The Sing-Off" Season 3, hosted by multi-platinum recording artist Nick Lachey, returns on NBC in a weekly format featuring two-hour episodes and with the number of groups competing expanded to 16. The groups will be performing for celebrity judges Sara Bareilles ("Love Song" and "King of Anything"), Ben Folds (Ben Folds Five) and Shawn Stockman (Boyz II Men) and competing for the prize of $200,000 cash and a Sony Music recording contract.

"The Sing-Off" Season 3 contestants are Afro-Blue, Cat's Pajamas, Dartmouth Aires, Delilah, The Deltones, Fannin Family, Kinfolk 9, Messiah's Men, North Shore, Pentatonix, Sonos, Soul'd Out, The Collective, Urban Method, Vocal Point, and YellowJackets.

"The Sing-Off" scours the country in search of the best a cappella groups. This year, the competition has expanded not only weekly but also to the 16 very best vocal groups who will perform chart-topping songs in weekly competition that will culminate with a live finale revealing the grand prize winner. The groups will be competing for America's vote and a chance to walk away with the ultimate prize—a Sony Music recording contract and a cash prize of $200,000.

"The Sing-Off" is produced by Joel Gallen's ("America's Best Dance Crew") Tenth Planet Productions, Outlaw Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television. Gallen, Deb Newmyer ("The Ugly Truth") Sam Weisman ("George of the Jungle"), and Josh Greenberg ("America's Best Dance Crew") are executive producers.

I've watched TSO for both seasons and love the close harmony, but was just disgusted with the hook-up with the 4 final groups on the show on 12/20. Ended up changing the channel until the last hour. Leave those groups alone and let them do their thing ALONE. I was a Committed fan from the getgo. Reminded me of Take 6 and the Hi-Los. Kudos to all of the groups. a capella ROCKS!

Got The Sing Off spoilers? What did you think of the last show?
