Thomas Dekker is on his way to becoming one of the hottest young actors in Hollywood. Thomas Dekker was born in the Nevada desert to a Welsh mother who is a successful theater actress and concert pianist, and a Dutch-American father who is a professional opera singer, painter, theater director and actor. Thomas Dekker's family traveled throughout the world until, when Dekker was 5 years old, they settled in Los Angeles, where he was cast to sing for a national television commercial. Thomas Dekker went on to secure acting roles in both film and television projects, including the lead role in John Carpenter's "Village of the Damned." Thomas Dekker's voice was featured in the animated films "The Land Before Time" and the sequels to "An American Tail." After three seasons in the lead role of "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids," Thomas Dekker landed a record deal at age 14. In addition to music and acting, Thomas Dekker successfully wrote, directed and produced the feature film "Cotton Wool." Thomas Dekker recently wrote, produced and directed "Arkane," a short film now being submitted to film festivals around the world. Thomas Dekker has also completed filming the lead role in the independent film "From Within," directed by Phedon Papamichael, which has been submitted to the major film festivals, including Sundance.
