Season 19

Nicknamed "The South Jersey Strangler," Tim Williams works as a union carpenter by day and trains to be an ultimate fighter by night. He almost gave up fighting when he had brain surgery, but when the doctor told him he could still fight he kept pursing his dream of one day signing a contract with the UFC. He is the youngest of four siblings and is very close with his family. His sister is a professional boxer. He has been with his fiancée for the years.

Season 17

Williams has delivered five of his seven wins by choke-induced submission. The Team Balance representative suffered his first professional defeat in August, when UFC veteran Dustin Jacoby forced a doctor's stoppage against him at a Cage Fury Fighting Championships show in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Williams owns a 2011 victory over Andre Gusmao, the man who welcomed reigning light heavyweight king Jon Jones to the Octagon a little more than four years ago.
