With an expansive list of diverse film and television credits, Timothy Olyphant is known for his poignant roles in both dramas and comedies. Timothy Olyphant stars opposite Steve Zahn in David Twohy's "A Perfect Getaway" (2009) for Relativity Media, which revolves around a newlywed couple on their honeymoon in Hawaii who run into two hikers who turn out to be vicious killers. Timothy Olyphant also stars in the independent film "High Life," (2008) directed by Gary Yates. The comedy centers around four hapless junkies who plan to rob a bank. In 2007, Timothy Olyphant starred in 20th Century Fox's "Hitman" and "Live Free Or Die Hard." "Hitman," based on the popular video game and directed by Xavier Gans, centers around Agent 47 (Timothy Olyphant), who realizes he's being pursued by both Interpol and the Russian military as he treks across Eastern Europe. In "Live Free Or Die Hard," which was directed by Len Wiseman, Timothy Olyphant played Thomas Gabriel an internet-based terrorist who John McClaine (Bruce Willis) is trying to stop from systematically shutting down the United States. In 2004, Timothy Olyphant co-starred with Elisha Cuthbert and Emile Hirsch in 20th Century Fox's "The Girl Next Door." Timothy Olyphant brilliantly portrayed Kelly, the porn producer and ex-boyfriend of Danielle (Elisha Cuthbert), who tries to convince her to come back to the business. Timothy Olyphant's other notable film credits include Doug Liman's "Go," playing Todd a drug dealer opposite Sarah Polley and Katie Holmes, GreeneStreet Films' "Meet Bill," and "Catch and Release," a romantic comedy which he starred in opposite Jennifer Garner. Timothy Olyphant also co-starred in the film adaptation of Stephen King's best selling novel, "Dreamcatcher," Warner Bros.' "Rock Star," Disney's "Gone in 60 Seconds" and New Line Cinema's "A Man Apart." In addition, Timothy Olyphant starred as Mickey in "Scream 2," in the indie film "1999," as well as "A Life Less Ordinary" alongside Cameron Diaz and Ewan McGregor and "The First Wives Club." On television, Timothy Olyphant has enjoyed guest appearances on popular shows such as NBC's "My Name is Earl," HBO's "Sex in the City" and ABC's "Samantha Who??" Timothy Olyphant garnered critical notice for his powerful portrayal of the tough, honorable, natural born-leader Seth Bullock in HBO's groundbreaking series, "Deadwood." The show was nominated for the Screen Actors Guild for Best Ensemble for the third season.
