Tonsheia "Toy" Grandison from "Biggest Loser 2016" is one of the contestants featured in Season 17 of the NBC reality weight-loss competition series. She is teamed up with her niece, Britney Anderson. From Statesboro, Georgia, Toy is a store manager and part-time caretaker at a girl's group home. Her starting weight is 316 lbs.

Tonsheia "Toy" Grandison was fit and athletic growing up, but the tragic accidental drowning of her 13-month-old son when she was twenty years old changed the course of her health and life. She says the guilt from the loss of her son, a poor diet and lack of motivation caused her to get to her current weight of 316 pounds.

The Waycross, Georgia, native was the youngest of seven children growing up in Orlando, Florida. She got a finance degree with a minor in information systems from Georgia Southern University, and is married with three sons and one daughter. It is her kids who have inspired her to lose weight. "My biggest motivation for going on the show is to be a good role model to my kids," she says. "I want to get healthy and teach them a healthy lifestyle." Once Toy loses the weight, she says, "I want to help my family, church and community be healthier." She also looks forward to running, going back to school and playing more with her kids.
