"Top Chef: Texas" returns to Bravo in fall 2011.

Go big or go home—that's the motto for Season 9 of the Emmy and James Beard Award-winning No.1 food show on cable, "Top Chef," as it heads to the state that does everything bigger—Texas. Possibly the worst kept locale secret in this moment's culinary universe, the new season of "Top Chef" will heartily embrace the Lone Star State's adage that all things are bigger as, in a series first, the production will head to three cities within the season—Austin, Dallas and San Antonio. "Top Chef" Season 9 will also showcase many surprising twists and turns and never-before-seen challenges and events. Returning to the judges table is host Padma Lakshmi and head judge, chef Tom Colicchio, alongside judges Gail Simmons and new this season, famed chef and restaurateur Emeril Lagasse and critically acclaimed chef Hugh Acheson.

"Top Chef" offers a fascinating window into the competitive, pressure-filled environment of world-class cookery and the restaurant business at the highest level. The series features aspiring chefs who compete for their shot at culinary stardom and the chance to earn the prestigious title of "Top Chef."

"Top Chef 9" is produced by the Emmy Award-winning Magical Elves. Dan Cutforth and Jane Lipsitz serve as executive producers.

How Dare you send a Cheff home and Keep a Cheater.....Alex? Everyone in America See's it your show is loosing creditbility. First the peapuree bull **** and now he didn't even cook. He's so stupid he told the judges they were having pork when in fact it was lamb now come on my kindergartener could get that straight.
pandora says:
Does anyone think it's interesting that one of the pictures on Bravos website now features two past runner-ups with this season's Ed and Kevin? If it means that those two are also runner-ups, all I can think is, what-a-shame, that means Angelo won.
maggie says:
fabio should have won.not because he is italian, but his food was so down to earth.not everyone eats what antonio made.

Got Top Chef spoilers? What did you think of the last show?
