Travis Fotheringham from "Jungle Gold" stars in the Discovery Channel reality docu-series.

Utah born and bred, Travis Fotheringham is a 29-year-old mechanic who lives in Salt Lake City with his wife Tami and two kids. At the age of 19 Travis joined the army becoming a highly skilled mechanic capable of turning a wrench to any technical problem. Since leaving the forces he's worked in all areas of heavy metal; trucks and welding are his thing. Last year Travis lost his full time job, his house and moved into rental accommodation. Ghana is his big chance to provide a new future for his family, but he's never been out of The States before, let alone lived in the hostile jungles of Africa. Travis is a rough, tough workingman who doesn't suffer fools. He says it how it is and isn't afraid to cut across Scott Lomu and George Wright's cleaner cut approach to life.
