Bringing the variety format back to the forefront of American culture, "
America's Got Talent
" showcases a colorful array of hopeful future stars -- singers, dancers, comedic performers and unique acts of all ages who have a chance to strut and perform in front of a panel of celebrity judges including actor/singer

In the first four audition episodes of
America's Got Talent
," the judges will select the best acts who will move on to the "boot camp" episode where they will have a chance to perfect their craft. Each performer on
America's Got Talent
" will be required to demonstrate the diversity of his or her act in order to move on to the semi-final performance episodes where the judging will be turned over to the American viewing audience who will vote each week for their favorites.

" culminates with a live finale where one act will walk away with a million dollar prize.
