Nicholas "Nick" Pedro made it into the top 24 contestants on Fox's "American Idol." On Season 5 of "American Idol," Nick Pedro also made it to Hollywood but wound up bowing out of the competition during the group rounds. At the time, Nick Pedro said it was because he he couldn't get the words right to "Buttercup." Nick Pedro now says that, " said "there hasn't been a day that's gone by without me being haunted by it." This time out, Nick Pedro auditioned in New York where he sang "Fly Me to the Moon." Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson, and guest judge Carol Bayer Sager unanimously voted to give Nick Pedro a second chance and put him through to the next round.
Nick Pedro is 25 years old. Nick Pedro has performed at talent shows and is a salesman at a finance company. Nick Pedro currently lives in Taunton, Massachusetts.
