Lynn and Jenni are contestants on Season 5 of NBC's weight-loss reality competition series, "The Biggest Loser."

Lynn and Jenni

will make up this season's green team. Lynn is the oldest competitor on the show this season, at 62 years old. Lynn spends so much time taking care of others that he has forgotten about himself. Lynn's 31 year old daughter, Jenni, is hoping that this experience will ultimately define who she is.

Lynn

Lynn was born and raised in Fremont, Nebraska and grew up as the oldest of two brothers in a working class family. Lynn's strong work ethic started at the age of 13 when he began working at an A&W Root Beer fast food restaurant, and in the following years he was promoted to manager. As he got older and entered high school, Lynn got involved in marching band and wrestling. By the time he was a senior in 1965, Lynn was named Big Ten Wrestling Champion for the heavyweight division. Needless to say, Lynn is extremely competitive whether it's from his days on the wrestling mat or currently in the world of business. Lynn is accustomed to finishing at the top, and continuously leads his company in sales. Lynn is an interior decorator and sells window dressing (shades, blinds, etc). Lynn is also the life of the party, even at the age of 60, though he admits he still feels 40. Lynn loves to cook and have people over the house to entertain. He's been married to Marge for 15 years and is home everyday by 5 pm to take care of her 93-year-old father. The only challenge he's never been able to beat, is his weight, that's the biggest obstacle for him and he wants to get back down to his high school wrestling weight.

Jenni

Jenni grew up in the small town of North Ridgeville, Ohio as a meat and potato eating girl who has always been known as "the fat friend". When Jenni was 10, her parents got divorced and against her wishes, she had to live with her mother until she was 12. Then Jenni moved in with her dad and her step mom Marge, whom she adores, and considers a role model. In high school Jenni began to develop many interests ranging from dance to clarinet to photography. Jenni dated her high school sweetheart for 11 years and was also engaged once but got cold feet. Now Jenni has been single for the past five years and is happy with her life as a nanny. The only thing holding Jenni back from true happiness is her weight, which depresses her.

Lynn and Jenni

will make a great team, as neither will back down from anyone, as well as be each other's cheerleader. Lynn is looking to reinvent himself, while Jenni is looking at this experience as a way to define herself. This will be the first time the two have ever been a "team" at something, which will give the two a chance to get even closer.
