Summit Entertainment's new "Twilight" movie, "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" is the highly anticipated sequel to the worldwide boxoffice hit, "Twilight" (2008). Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner reprise their roles for "Twilight: New Moon," directed by Chris Weitz ("The Golden Compass," "About a Boy"). "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" was released on November 20, 2009.

Native American/First Nation actors Chaske Spencer, Bronson Pelletier, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Tyson Houseman have signed on to star as the members of the wolf pack in "The Twilight Saga: New Moon." Each member of the wolf pack is of Native decent. Spencer is Lakota (Sioux), Pelletier is Cree-Metis, Meraz is Purepecha (Tarasco), Gordon is Hualapai, and Houseman, who was discovered at an open casting call, is Cree. In "Twilight: New Moon," the wolf pack defends humans against vampires although they have a tribal history intricately entwined with Edward Cullen and his family. Casting of the wolf pack was overseen by award-winning casting director Rene Haynes who is well-known for her work on Native projects ranging from "Dances with Wolves" to "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee."
"The Twilight Saga: New Moon" also stars Nikki Reed as Rosalie Hale, Ashley Greene as Alice Cullen, Dakota Fanning as Jane, Peter Facinelli as Dr. Carlisle Cullen, Jackson Rathbone as Jasper Hale, Kellan Lutz as Emmett Cullen, Billy Burke as Charlie Swan, Elizabeth Reaser as Esme Cullen, and Rachelle Lefevre as Victoria. "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" was written by Melissa Rosenberg, based upon the novel by Stephenie Meyer. Wyck Godfrey and Mark Morgan are producers of "The Twilight Saga: New Moon."
