Ty Olsson also stars in both parts of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" as Phil Dwyer. He also recently starred in "Rise of the Planet of the Apes," opposite James Franco, as Chief John Hamil.

A graduate of Vancouver's prestigious theater school, Studio 58, Ty Olsson's motto has always been to take work regardless of the size of the role. This work ethic has led him to over 75 television and feature appearances.

Feature credits include "AVPR: Aliens vs Predator - Requiem," "X-Men 2," "Elektra," "Just Friends," "RV," "Marriage" and "Alien vs. Predator 2."

On television, Olsson played Rollie Crane in ABC's miniseries "Defying Gravity" and the recurring roles of Captain Aaron Kelly in Si Fi Channel's "Battlestar Galactica" and Sam "the plow guy" Soloway on ABC's "Men in Trees." His supporting role in A&E's "Flight 93," which scored the highest ratings in the network's history, landed him an interview on "Larry King Live" on CNN.

He was more recently seen in the Canadian series "Shattered." Guest appearances include "Fairly Legal," "Eureka," "V," "Psych," "Smallville" and "Supernatural."
