Tyler James Williams stars as Chris, a responsible, resilient 14-year-old struggling to keep his siblings in line at home while dealing with the ups-and-downs of a being a teenager, in The CW's critically acclaimed comedy "Everybody Hates Chris," inspired by the childhood experiences of comedian Chris Rock.

Tyler James Williams began his acting career at the age of 4 on "Sesame Street," appearing as a series regular for several years. Later, Tyler James Williams co-starred in Bill Cosby's animated series "Little Bill," where he voiced the character of Bobby. Tyler James Williams' other television credits include numerous appearances in comedic skits on "Saturday Night Live." Most recently, Tyler James Williams appeared in an episode of "Law & Order: SVU" titled "Parts" as Kyle McGovern, a child in need of a liver transplant. In addition, Tyler James Williams has appeared in dozens of commercials, most recently for Corvette and Fruit by the Foot.

In 2006, Tyler James Williams starred alongside Wilmer Valderrama in "Unaccompanied Minors," a feature film about a group of kids who bond while snowed in at an airport the day after Christmas. Tyler James Williams also lends his voice to the feature films "Everyone's Hero" and "The Ant Bully."

Aside from acting, Tyler James Williams enjoys basketball (especially the Miami Heat), piano, macaroni & cheese and history.

Tyler James Williams lives in New York with his mom, dad, brothers Tylen and Tyrel, and silky terrier, Benny 'Ruff-neck' Williams.
