Unax Ugalde has already won or been nominated for most of Spain's awards for acting in film and television in the course of his young career. His notable film credits include Steven Soderbergh's "Che: Part One," Milos Forman's "Goya's Ghosts" and Mike Newell's "Love in the Time of Cholera."

For his work in the coming-of-age drama "Hector," Ugalde was nominated for a Goya Award for Best Supporting Actor. He won Best New Actor at the Turia Awards for his performance in "My Sweet" and shared the Best Actor prize at the Valladolid International Film Festival for his work in Helena Taberna's "The Good News."

Other film credits include Manuel Gomez Pereira's "Queens," Tom Kalin's "Savage Grace" (starring Julianne Moore) and the recent Mexican drama "Cefalopodo."
