"Unsung Hollywood" on TV One is a spin-off of the NAACP Image Award-winning series "Unsung."

From revealing portraits of beloved stars of film and television, including feminist film icon Pam Grier and politically charged comic Dick Gregory, to in-depth stories behind the making (and breaking) of influential films and TV series such as "Cooley High" and "What's Happening!!," this new series shines a spotlight on subjects and stories that have rarely or never been told. It will share rare stories from film, television, comedy and sports stars through clips, archival and contemporary performances, and exclusively shot, behind-the-scenes footage. The series features in-depth personal interviews with the talent as well as their family members, friends, industry associates, fellow entertainers and various cultural commentators.

"Unsung Hollywood" is narrated by Gary Anthony Williams and is executive produced by Arthur Smith, Kent Weed, Mark Rowland and Frank Sinton of A. Smith & Co. Productions for TV One. Henry Schipper is co-executive producer. Executive in charge of production for TV One is Robyn Greene Arrington, and producer for TV One is Lamar Chase.
