Ursula Mayes was born on August 9th overseas on a US military base in Seoul, South Korea. Ursula Mayes's exotic looks come from a Korean mother and a German/Native-American father. The name Ursula is quiet unique and means "little female bear" in German. Ursula Mayes possesses both the ultra feminine and ultra tough characteristics. Ursula Mayes has always called herself a "girly tomboy" (she has five brothers)! Ursula Mayes loves rock music, boxing, martial arts, and motor sports yet loves makeup, fashion, poetry, antiques and her favorite colors are pink, yellow and orange. Growing up as an army brat has led Ursula Mayes to many places. Traveling to and from Korea until the age of six, Washington, DC; Virginia; Kentucky; North Carolina; and Puerto Rico just to name a few. Having traveled so much as a child, now carries on into her current life. Landing a spread in Maxim magazine and a national campaign as a spokesmodel with a global events company in December 2004, Ursula Mayes embarked on a 20 city nationwide tour in 2005. Immediately landing the campaign along with great exposure from Maxim, Ursula Mayes moved to beautiful Orange County, California.
Moving to the "OC" with only two suitcases and in less than one year, a fashion agency in West Hollywood and Orange County immediately signed her. Aside from being signed with the agencies, on her own merit, Ursula Mayes has graced the pages of magazines such as MAXIM and maximonline (twice more), Muscle & Fitness, OC Health, Chicago Clubline, Thirteen Minutes, landed the new Bacardi ad and Airsplat campaigns, numerous clothing catalogues, numerous calendar covers (her 2007 calendar and DVD has just been completed) and just recently, landed the coveted Dreamgirl International's 2006 model and spokesmodel position.
Ursula Mayes is the official TV host for "Action Media," interviewing everyone from musicians, models, celebrities, professional athletes, corporate sponsors and more. Ursula Mayes is also the official "Queen of the Scene" MC host - the search for Miss Hot Import Nights 2007 at all Action Media events nationwide.
