"V" Season 2 will return on ABC for the 2010-2011 season.

ABC's "V" 2010 TV series is a re-imagining of the 1980's miniseries about the world's first encounter with an alien race. Simultaneously appearing over every major city in the world, the Visitors (or V's) promote a message of peace on ABC's new "V." Through their generous offer to share advanced technology, the V's build a following that may actually hide a more malevolent agenda, one that twists a very deep component of human nature: devotion.

While the world in the new 2010 "V" quickly becomes fascinated with the V's and their link to wonders just beyond the reach of human understanding, FBI Counter Terrorist Agent Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell) discovers a secret hidden beneath the skin of every V—a secret that may threaten the lives of everyone close to her. Yet for her teenage son, Tyler (Logan Huffman), the V's are his ticket to something big and hopeful—a new chance for mankind to unite in common goals. To Chad Decker (Scott Wolf), a career-hungry news anchor, his exclusive interview with Anna (Morena Baccarin), the leader of the V's, is crucial to his dominating the airwaves. Also unsure about the Visitors is Father Jack (Joel Gretsch), a priest questioning his faith in the wake of the Visitors' arrival on the new 2009 "V" TV series. Seeking answers outside the church, Father Jack discovers there are other dissidents who believe the Visitors are not who they say they are on "V," including Ryan Nichols (Morris Chestnut), who is faced with his own life-altering decision when the V's show up. Never has there been more at stake—it truly is the dawning of a new day on the new "V" 2010 TV series.

ABC's new "V" 2010 TV series also stars Lourdes Benedicto as Ryan's fiancée, Valerie, and Laura Vandervoort as Lisa, an alluring Visitor who sets her sights on Tyler.

ABC's new "V" 2010 TV series is produced by The Scott Peters Company and HDFilms in association with Warner Bros. Television. Scott Peters ("The 4400," "The Outer Limits"), Jeffrey Bell ("Day Break," "Alias"), Steve Pearlman ("Reunion," "Related") and Jace Hall ("F.E.A.R," "Condemned: Criminal Origins" video games) are executive producers. The pilot for ABC's "V" was directed by Yves Simoneau ("Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee," "The 4400").

Too bad this is coming back, the show absolutely sucks.
andy says:
Why did they renew for another season? With falling ratings, sub standard acting, and not a patch on the original, this is an awful decision
dudenjoy says:
Anna is a far better queen the Diana.
adrian says:
This show sucks! As a fan of the original, this show should never have been made.
alo1productions says:
This is definitely a series for the thinkers of the world. Society has been dumbing down with all the crap on TV. Many individuals I know are hooked on this show. It will live up to the original series!
anonymous says:
Showing promise. Just about every episode has been interesting. Not every episode has been totally great but something about it keeps you watching. I hope season 2 doesn't disappoint
benfromny says:
I was a huge fan of the old V. I am such a huger fan of the remake. It's been awesome, entertaining, and keep me wanting more. I truly hope they bring in Season II. Anna and the Father are great actors and I really enjoyed Season I. Hoping for more!!!
msjaebea says:
It people like me and the many other fans that bring the show back! I LOVE IT and soooo look forward to its return!
elitesoldier says:
Cool show, too bad i didnt know about it when it was showing on tv, myself and others would have helped the ratings. This show is similar to the feeling of anxiousness, just like I had with Dexter, of seeing the next episode. For me the story matters a bit more than the acting ... if you are looking for perfect acting, you will probably never find it.
starrose says:
I am looking forward to the 2nd season.
visitor says:

carlos says:
When does the new season of V come out?
magicaklathena says:
The show is not a remake, the only thing it resembles to the other series is that it involved an invasion. It is a morph in a bent mirror colored with paint.

Got V spoilers? What did you think of the last show?
