Valentina Cervi

Valentina Cervi appears in "Jane Eyre," starring Michael Fassbender, Jamie Bell and Mia Wasikowska, as Bertha.

Valentina Cervi is the daughter of Italian director Tonino Cervi as well as the granddaughter of famous Italian actor Gino Cervi. Born in Rome, she had her film debut at age 10 in Carlo Cotti's "Portami la luna." Her English film debut came in "The Portrait of a Lady" in 1996, which was followed by a critically acclaimed starring role in "Artemisia" in 1997. She also appeared in "James Dean," starring James Franco, in 2001.

More recently, she has appeared in BBC's Italian detective miniseries "Zen" as Arianna.
