Vanessa Marano first appeared as Eden on CBS's "The Young and the Restless" in December 2008. Vanessa Marano plays Michael Baldwin's (Christian LeBlanc) half-sister and the daughter of River Baldwin (Michael Gross).

Vanessa Marano began acting in the theater when she was six years old, performing in numerous plays at Agoura Children's Theatre in Agoura Hills, California. Vanessa Marano began her professional career working on several national commercials.

Vanessa Marano had recurring roles on several television shows including "Trust Me," "Without a Trace," "Gilmore Girls" and "Six Feet Under." Vanessa Marano's guest-starring roles include "Ghost Whisperer," "The Closer," "Party Down," "Malcolm in the Middle" and "Grounded for Life." Vanessa Marano also was a series regular on "The Comeback."

In addition to television, Vanessa Marano starred in many films. Vanessa Marano's first film role was as the voice of the sea turtle in "Finding Nemo," followed by the independent film, "Easy."
