Vanna White is the co-host of the syndicated game show "Wheel of Fortune." She made her debut on the series in 1982, as the first female co-host of a game show. She's established herself as a household name with a phenomenal following worldwide ever since.

As a much sought-after showcase for designer fashions, Vanna White has worn over 5,400 outfits at the puzzle board. With so much fan interest in her attire, she launched her official "Vanna Style" web page, which can be accessed via

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce honored Vanna with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in April 2006. The ceremony was celebrated by international press coverage, as well as her family and friends, including Pat Sajak, Alex Trebek and Merv Griffin.

In 1992, Vanna was recognized in "The Guinness Book of World Records" as "Television's Most Frequent Clapper." Averaging 720 claps per episode, she puts her hands together more than 28,000 times per season.

Vanna's autobiography, "Vanna Speaks," was a nationwide bestseller when published in 1987. She has also been featured on numerous magazine covers.

Vanna's passion for crocheting and helping children led to the launching of her own line of yarn called "Vanna's Choice." A portion of its proceeds is donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. In December 2010, the Los Angeles Regional Foodbank honored Vanna White with their "Making a Difference" award after Vanna and the Wheel of Fortune team volunteered at the food bank, alongside executives from Feeding America and Maxwell House, to help feed families in need.

Over the years, Vanna has made guest appearances as herself in numerous movies and television series, as well as appearing on countless talk shows.

Becoming a pop culture icon was not something Vanna expected while growing up in the small resort town of North Myrtle Beach, S.C. After attending the Atlanta School of Fashion Design and becoming one of the area's top models, she moved to Los Angeles with the goal of an acting career. Just two years later, while competing against more than 200 other hopefuls, Vanna's intelligence, all-American beauty, grace and exuberant personality won her the coveted spot as co-host of America's favorite game show.

Beyond her work on TV and her philanthropic efforts, Vanna spends her time on her favorite job: being a mom to her two children, Nicholas and Giovanna. She is a strong believer in fitness and leads a healthy lifestyle, which includes spinning and yoga.
