Victor Webster stars in The CW's "Melrose Place" as Caleb Brewer, who is a cigar-smoking, scotch-drinking, L.A. Lakers-loving kind of guy. Caleb is also gay.

Victor Webster was born in Calgary, Alberta,Canada. The son of a police officer and a hair-stylist, Victor Webster was interested in acting from a very early age. Participating in many school plays and theater classes helped Victor Webster to realize his love of the art. Having never lost his passion for acting, Victor Webster chose to venture into the business world to try and carve out a life for himself. Years as a stockbroker and then owner of an import export company left Victor Webster feeling unfulfilled.

It was at this point that Victor Webster was approached for an acting gig. Victor Webster got that job and wound up starring on "Sunset Beach." Victor Webster immediately followed that with a starring role on the Emmy Award winning AMC series "The Lot" and then a part on the daytime soap opera "Days of Our Lives" before landing a lead role in the number one nationally syndicated action series "Mutant X." With this, Victor Webster caught the attention of People Magazine and was named one of their 50 Most Eligible Bachelors.

Victor Webster then went on to play the recurring roles of Marco on The WB's "Related," Coop on "Charmed," Dr. Christian Mario on ABC Family's "Lincoln Heights" and, most recently, Hunter Jennings on CBS's murder mystery "Harper's Island."

As a teenager, Victor Webster frequently found himself in trouble because of his misguided behavior. Martial arts proved to be the perfect outlet. Victor Webster spent many years teaching and competing, achieving an undefeated record in the heavy weight Black Belt division, as well an undefeated record as an amateur kick-boxer.
