Victoria Gotti from "The Celebrity Apprentice 2012" is one of the celebrity contestants in Season 5 of the NBC reality competition series. The columnist and socialite previously starred on A&E's reality docu-drama "Growing Up Gotti," which chronicled the life of Gotti and her three sons, Carmine Gotti, John Gotti and Frank Gotti. Filmed at the family's seven-bedroom mansion on Long Island, the boys quickly became celebrity heartthrobs.

Victoria Gotti's life has led her to several careers: entertainment correspondent, philanthropist, award-winning mystery novelist, gossip columnist, and mother of three boys. Her work has brought her much recognition — from being named the Woman's Writers Guild "Writer of the Year" to receiving two Outstanding Humanitarian medals for her work on women's health issues — but no job could be more challenging or more rewarding than raising her three sons, whose lives have more twists and turns than any story she could ever write.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in a modest two-story house in Howard Beach, New York, Gotti is one of five children of deceased mob boss John Gotti, who was reputed to be the head of one of America's most powerful crime families. She entered St. Johns University at the young age of 15 with a goal of pursuing a law degree.

A former New York Post columnist and channel 5 reporter, Gotti is a best-selling author of three novels including "The Senator's Daughter," "I'll Be Watching You" and "Superstar," as well as a cookbook, "Hot Italian Dish," a memoir, "This Family of Mine: What It Was Like Growing Up Gotti" and a book called "Women and Mitral Valve Prolapse," inspired by her experience with the disease. She has been an executive editor and columnist at Star Magazine since 2004. Her newest venture is the recently launched Reality Weekly, for which she serves as Editor-in-Chief at Large.

Until 2001, Gotti was married to her childhood sweetheart, scrap-metal magnate Carmine Agnello. Agnello is currently serving nine years for racketeering and tax fraud in federal prison. Gotti's brother John Jr. is also in prison, serving time for plotting the kidnapping and attempted murder of talk-show host Curtis Sliwa in 1992.

Gotti currently lives in New York.
