Vik Sahay stars in "Chuck" on NBC as Lester, a member of the Nerd Herd and lead vocalist of the Buy More's resident rock band, Jeffster!

Born in Montreal, Quebec, Vik Sahay attended Canterbury High School of the Arts in Ottawa, Ontario, and studied theater performance at Montreal's Concordia University. He learned classical Indian dance and, as a youngster, appeared on the series "You Can't Do That on Television." Sahay was also featured in the television series "Radio Active." Based on his work on the series, Sahay was awarded a starring role in "Our Hero" and, for his performance, was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Male Actor in a Series.

Sahay went on to star in the critically acclaimed series "This Is Wonderland." Although the drama was short-lived, it received a high number of Gemini Award nominations, Canada's version of the Emmy Awards. Sahay also guest starred on series such as "Without a Trace" and "Las Vegas."

On the big screen, Sahay most recently starred in "The Rocker" with Rainn Wilson. Other features include the thriller "Time Bomb," "Amal" and "Stir of Echoes: The Homecoming," with Rob Lowe. Sahay also starred in several of the popular Roxy Hunter movies and appeared in the TV movie "A Slight Case of Murder," with William H. Macy, Felicity Huffman, Alan Arkin and James Cromwell. Sahay got his start in features with the lauded films "Good Will Hunting" and David Cronenberg's "eXistenZ," starring Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jude Law and Willem Dafoe.

In addition to his work on-screen, Sahay is also adept on the stage, and has performed in productions of "Hamlet," "A Perfect Ganesh," "Twelfth Night," "Macbeth," "Mango Chutney" and "Snakes & Ladders," among others.

Sahay finished the comedy short film "Chili & Cheese: A Condimental Rift" about a one-time Physician but now store clerk in 2009 that's making the film festival circuit. Most recently Sahay wrapped the indie drama "Afghan Luke and the Burgundy of Hash," by director Mike Clattenburg ("Trailer Park Boys") in Canada.
