Vincent Buckles ("Sons of Guns") is Red Jacket's lead gunsmith and a native of Detroit, Michigan. He was raised camping, fishing and backpacking on his family's property in Northern Michigan. Growing up, Vince was (and remains to this day) an Eagle Scout in Boy Scout Troop 1024. Vince started tinkering with guns prior to enrolling in the Pennsylvania Gunsmith School in 2002, which he graduated from in 2004.

skilled guitarist and vocalist, Vince was a touring musician up until 2007 with the bands American Outlaws and Louisiana hardcore legends, Bite the Curb. Now he spends most of his free time with his wife, daughter and two stepchildren and is active in his church. In addition to hanging out with his family, Vince enjoys riding motorcycles, barbecuing, and on occasion — shooting guns. His favorite gun is the 1873 Winchester because it was used by such legends as Billy the Kid and Geronimo in the Old West.
