Vince Epperson from "Coal" stars in the Spike TV reality docu-series about coal miners. Vince ("Coal") is a section foreman and electrician who works the night shift in the mine.

A Vietnam veteran, Vince Epperson began coal mining in 1972 when the industry was booming and left in 1985 when the business bottomed out and started his own contracting company. However when the economy started getting tight seven years ago, he had to shut down his business and returned to mining. He now mainly works as an electrician.
