We Are Heroes from "America's Best Dance Crew" is one of the dance crews competing on season 4 of the MTV reality series. The We Are Heroes dance crew is from Los Angeles, California. The crew members are Hiroka "Hero" Mcrae (25 years old), Riquel "Riqdiculous Licky" Olander (22), Mami Kanemitsu (26), Ali Iannucci (25) and Nichelle Thrower (23).
Japanese-born Hiroka "Hero" Mcrae started the Heroes dance crew with one goal in mind: to prove that females can hold their own in the hip-hop dance world.
This group of effervescent young women came together from New York, Idaho and as far as Japan to fulfill their dreams of dancing in Hollywood. Growing up in all corners of the globe, these five girls have different dancing backgrounds, including ballroom and hip-hop, but they all share a fierce feminine flair. They've also got a couple of athletes and gymnasts in the mix to add something special to their set.
They were inspired by everything from Fred Astaire to Michael Jackson and has honed their dancing into something they call "Glam Style." In addition, these ladies have worked with such stars as Jamie Foxx, Kanye West, Ciara and Earth, Wind & Fire.
