Wendy DeSmidt-Kohlhoff in "Survivor: Nicaragua"
Wendy DeSmidt-Kohlhoff says three words to describe her are honest, talkative and competitive. Her personal claim to fame is reaching the Lieutenant Colonel rank in the Army. She derives inspiration in life from her mother because she made her who she is today.
She enjoys singing, dancing, fishing, hunting, and anything to do with animals. Her pet peeves include stuck-up, rude, self-centered, dishonest, and know-it-all people. When asked which "Survivor" contestant she is most like, she says, "No one, especially not the other female military contestant, Shambo. We just have different personalities."
The reason she is on "Survivor: Nicaragua": "To prove that I can do this. I would also love to pay off our ranch in Montana." Why does she think she will be the sole "Survivor"? "Because if you put your heart and mind into the game anyone can be the final 'Survivor.' You need skill, strategy, physical/mental abilities and a little luck. I'm Irish, so hopefully I'll have the luck of the Irish with me."
