"Young Sheldon" is a single-camera comedy series on CBS that is a spin-off of "The Big Bang Theory."

The spin-off follows "The Big Bang Theory's" Sheldon Cooper at the age of nine, played by Iain Armitage, living with his family in East Texas and going to high school.

The cast also includes Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Raegan Revord and Montana Jordan. Jim Parsons narrates as adult Sheldon.

"Young Sheldon" is produced by Chuck Lorre Productions, Inc. in association with Warner Bros. Television with creators Chuck Lorre & Steven Molaro, Jim Parsons and Todd Spiewak serving as executive producers. Jon Favreau directed the pilot.
